Holy BibleHoly Bible
The Bible is, together with the Koran, probably one of the two most well-known books ever published. We are proud to be able to offer our e-book version: being an electronic file, searching for a particular passage or person is far easier with an e-book than it is with a printed version.

The Bible really needs no introduction, nor does it really need an 'extract'; we have, though, supplied an extract really just to show the format.

Holy Q'uranHoly Q'uran
The Holy Q'uran ranks with the Christian Bible as a guiding light to millions of people around the world. The two works have many similarities, yet there are many differences too. Even for those who are not devotees of the prophet Mohammed there is much to learn from his words; we are proud to be able to offer the Holy Q'uran as an electronic text to facilitate easy searching for those unfamiliar with its contents.

It is a book with which we should all have some familiarity as the world shrinks and societies become ever more multicultural.

The First Citizen Of LIfe - J D WhittenThe First Citizen Of LIfe - J D Whitten
This little book is the result of a great deal of research and thought. Its conclusions are strikingly simple, yet could provoke debate as they fly in the face of much that goes on the world in these early years of the 21st century. It explains its author's philosophy and his views of adherents in the world's major religions - it makes an interesting comparison with the works of Neil Horan, where similar conclusions are reached by a vastly different route.

Whether one ultimately agrees with the author or not, this is a treatise that is well worth reading.

A Glorious New World - Father Neil HoranA Glorious New World - Father Neil Horan
Are there passages in the Bible that foretell events that were, at the time it was written, long in the future? Father Neil Horan argues eloquently and persuasively in this book, first published in 1985, that this is so. It is very easy to scoff at predictions of events that were, according to the book, to have taken place a few years ago but which have not happened, but to do that would be wrong. With only the subtlest changes in emphasis in interpretation it could just as easily be argued that events in the Middle East have to a large degree fulfilled the prophesies for the years since 1985.

Then there are events yet to come. They are, according to the author and his sources, to be the most significant in the history of mankind, and are going to happen soon. With a little thought, certain current-day world leaders are a disconcertingly comfortable match for some of the characters who will act out the earth-shattering dramas to come. Even the most hardened cynic will have that prickly feeling at the back of his neck as he reads this book.

Taken together with Father Horan's later work, 'Christ Will Soon Take Power From All Governments', the two books represent one of the most remarkable and significant bodies of work seen in this field for many, many years.

Christ Will Soon Take Power From All Governments - Father Neil HoranChrist Will Soon Take Power From All Governments - Father Neil Horan
The Bible is, without doubt, a remarkable book. It chronicles the traditional Christian view of the story of mankind from the creation to the life of Jesus and beyond. Were it to be only that it would be remarkable enough, but Father Horan, an ordained Catholic Priest, demonstrates in his own book that it is far more.

He explains in meticulous detail and with persuasively logical arguments that it contains a wealth of prophecies, some of which have already come to pass and others which are still to be realised. This work is authoritatively written by a man with a comprehensive knowledge of his subject and is fascinating - almost compellingly so - reading. It is essential reading for any keen reader of the Bible.

The Bible And The Grand Prix Priest - Father Neil HoranThe Bible And The Grand Prix Priest - Father Neil Horan
Back in July 2003 the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was 'disrupted' by a 'protestor'; in fact it was Father Neil Horan urging us to pay more attention to our Bibles.

In addition to the two books he has written, both of which are available from Deunant Books, Neil decided to publish (in early 2004) this work which gives an insight into the man who is Neil Horan, his beliefs and the reaction of the Catholic Church and their institutions to those beliefs. It is a fascinating and revealing glimpse into the life of a shy, gentle, genuine yet extraordinary man who is passionate about what he believes to be true and about sharing his knowledge with others.

Does he seek to justify his actions on that July afternoon? Read what he has to say and decide for yourself: he received a punishment from the secular authorities which many would say was excessive and now faces the same from his Church. Whether the Catholic establishment is reacting wholly to Neil's beliefs is debatable - after all, he has been unswerving in those beliefs for well over a decade - as the actions they have chosen to take follow his unscheduled appearance on TV sets around the world.

This work is really about how Neil arived at the beliefs he now has; only the reader can decide for himself whether there is a case to answer. The author will ultimately be judged by a higher, merciful, Authority.

New Wine - Reverend George BoltNew Wine - Reverend George Bolt
It has long been held that adherence to the principles laid down by science is at one end of a spectrum and at the opposite end lies faith in God; the two are fundamentally irreconcileable. But is that really the case?

In this authoritative, well-written book George Bolt sets out to make that reconciliation. He is after all an ordained Minister with a scientific background which makes his interest in the interface between religion and science unsurprising and puts him in a position to argue his case convincingly. In our opinion he has done a masterful job of bringing together apparently disparate beliefs: here evolutionary theory as first advanced by Charles Darwin is accepted as are the principles of nuclear fusion, yet the existence of an omnipotent God is just as readily accepted.

It is a fascinating work, intriguingly structured, written by a man with a complete mastery of his theme. We recommend it highly.

The extract from the book is composed of sections from both the beginning and the end. How one is reached from the other is the really compelling part of the book!

Conflicting Spirits And Other Plays - Ronald WhiteConflicting Spirits And Other Plays - Ronald White
This set of seven highly individual stage plays have a religious theme to them, expounding the virtues of honesty and Christianity. "Conflicting Spirits" is the story of the summoning of both evil and good spirits - the conflict of the title - whilst "A Miracle For Christmas" also introduces a character from the spirit world; it is perhaps the lightest of the set. A spirit also appears in "A Devil's Contract", but is much less benign than the others.

"The Duke Seeks A Wife" is a parable of love and marriage set in the year 1500. Much more modern and very different, "A Nazi Youth" tells the story of a committed member of the Nazi youth movement, and the shattering shock that awaits him when he expresses a wish to join the SS. "Misconceived Socialism" is a counter-revolutionary work set in a contemporary Court room; as such it shares much with "The Terrorists", although the latter is set in a private house. Both are worthy of their inclusion in this thought-provoking collection.

Groups wishing to stage any of these plays are requested to contact Deunant Books.

Poetic Short Stories - Ronald WhitePoetic Short Stories - Ronald White
Poetry is an art form that can touch the emotions in a way that prose can rarely match. In this anthology of 29 poems Ronald White shows that it can be adapted to tell stories, making the message contained in each of those stories very plain. Many of these poetic stories carry the message that belief in God, irrespective of the label one's chosen faith may bear, is a good thing; even the most confirmed of atheists will, nevertheless, enjoy and sympathise with what the writer has to say.

This is a hugely enjoyable book, which can be appreciated even by those who protest that they "don't like poetry".
